Classic Sausage and Peppers

⏱️ 30 minutes 👥 Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Begulia's Mild Italian Sausage
  • 2 bell peppers (red and green), sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Italian rolls for serving

Instructions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add sausages and cook until browned on all sides (about 10 minutes)
  3. Remove sausages and slice into bite-sized pieces
  4. In the same pan, sauté peppers and onions until soft
  5. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  6. Return sausage to pan and cook until heated through
  7. Serve on Italian rolls or over pasta

Italian Sausage Pasta

⏱️ 25 minutes 👥 Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Begulia's Medium Italian Sausage, casings removed
  • 1 lb penne pasta
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions
  2. In a large skillet, brown the sausage, breaking it into pieces
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  4. Add crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese
  6. Toss with cooked pasta
  7. Garnish with fresh basil and serve

Sausage and White Bean Soup

⏱️ 45 minutes 👥 Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Begulia's Mild Italian Sausage
  • 2 cans (15 oz each) white beans, drained
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups chopped kale
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 3 celery stalks, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

Instructions:

  1. Remove sausage from casings and brown in a large pot
  2. Remove sausage and set aside
  3. In the same pot, heat olive oil and sauté onion, carrots, and celery
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
  5. Add chicken broth, beans, and cooked sausage
  6. Simmer for 20 minutes
  7. Add kale and cook until wilted
  8. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper

Stuffed Bell Peppers

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Begulia's Mild Italian Sausage, casings removed
  • 6 bell peppers, tops cut and seeds removed
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Italian seasoning

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking into pieces
  3. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft
  4. Mix in rice, half the marinara sauce, and half the mozzarella
  5. Stuff peppers with sausage mixture
  6. Place in baking dish, top with remaining sauce and cheese
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes
  8. Remove foil and bake 10 more minutes until cheese is golden

Sausage Pizza

⏱️ 30 minutes 👥 Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 lb Begulia's Hot Italian Sausage, casings removed
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C)
  2. Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking into small pieces
  3. Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface
  4. Transfer to pizza pan or baking sheet
  5. Spread pizza sauce over dough
  6. Top with cheese, sausage, mushrooms, and olives
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden
  8. Garnish with fresh basil and red pepper flakes

Sausage Breakfast Hash

⏱️ 35 minutes 👥 Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb Begulia's Mild Italian Sausage
  • 3 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt, pepper, and paprika
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Remove sausage from casings and brown in a large skillet
  2. Remove sausage and set aside
  3. Add olive oil and diced potatoes to the pan
  4. Cook potatoes until golden and crispy
  5. Add bell pepper and onion, cook until soft
  6. Return sausage to pan and mix well
  7. Make 4 wells in the hash and crack an egg into each
  8. Cover and cook until eggs are set to your liking
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve
